Me doing an Elvis Costello number.

In 1974, Charles Aznavour had a number one hit in the UK with a song called She. It was playing all over the place. It was well liked. Obviously, as it was number one, but I didn’t like it very much at the time. It was a bit too slushy for me.

That was until 1999 when Elvis Costello did a cover version of it. I liked the sound of Elvis Costello’s voice, and maybe, just ,maybe, my musical tastes had changed over time. Not likely really. Charles Aznavours original still had little appeal to me.

Which led me to doing a version of the song, but more in the style of Elvis Costello.

So here it is. My take on the song.
